As a sponsor of The University of Newcastle’s Industry Scholarship Scheme (UNISS), PowerServe is proud to offer sponsorship to students undertaking the Electrical Engineering degree. Students choosing to commence this program are not only fully supported financially by PowerServe, but they are ensured that what they learn is up-to-date and industry relevant. UNISS students have the benefit of learning practical skills from PowerServe as well as a high standard of theoretical teaching from The University of Newcastle. Graduates complete the program with a well-rounded education to prepare them for successful careers in the Power Industry.
Hunter V-Tec, the specialist division of Hunter Valley Training Company offer a number of Pre-Vocational and Vocational courses in partnership with PowerServe. Our commitment to teaching and assisting new apprentices year after year ensures that they are ‘work-ready’ on completion of their course and can immediately add value to PowerServe’s existing workforce. PowerServe’s strong partnership with Hunter V-Tec spans over five years and offers a number of areas of study such as Distribution Power Line apprenticeships and Electrotechnology apprenticeships.
